In the UK today is Oliver and Jame's birthday (April 1) Ironic that they're the biggest pranksters in Harry Potter and their born on April Fools!

James and Oliver Phelps to Attend Harry Potter, the Exhibition Opening Event in Toronto

James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley) would be coming to Toronto, Ont. to be at the opening of the Harry Potter Exhibition (April 9). This would take place at the Ontario Science Centre. I would really love to go there too and meet them! This would be a great present for my friend's birthday.

Really recommend you go. Lots of people went and said it was the highlight of their lives.

Universal brings Hogwarts to life at Orlando!
Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando would be opened at spring. It'll be a 20 acre theme park, witin a theme park !

You'll be able to travel on the Hogsmeade station and explore Hogsmeade's most well known stores like Zonko's Joke Shop, Honeyduke's sweet shop and Dervish and Banges magical-equipment shop! You'll be able to buy a wand (that ofcourse chooses you) from Ollivander's wand shop.

You'll be able to eat lunch at the Three Broomsticks (where Harry,Ron and Hermione usually goes to) or the Hog's Head (where they held D.A. meetings) which would feature traditional British drinks including Butterbeer and Pumpkin juice.

Ride on rollercoasters like the Dragon Challenge, a high-speed roller coaster, or take a Hippogriff training flight!

Last but not least visit Hogwarts Castle.

Godric`s Hollow scene

According to the leaky cauldron no one, on January 29th no one showed up for filming for the scene when Hermione and Harry goes to Godric`s Hollow (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollow) which was filmed in an old village, Lavenham so Hermione and Harry would be added by computer wizardry.
I`m guessing the picture of the house is Bathilda`s house

Can`t wait for the movie to come out although it`s two parts. It`s going to be in 3D!

JK Rowling named as one of Scotland's most influential women

Have you heard the all time best selling J.K. Rowling has been honoured today as one of Scotland's most influential women as part of a charity evento to assist disadvantaged women:

They were honoured at the Action for Children Scotland Woman of Influence Awards which celebrates women who have had a major impact on Scottish society.

Normally only one woman is honoured, but this year ten have been recognised to mark the tenth anniversary of the awards.

Hundreds of guests gathered in the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow city centre for the ceremony, which was hosted by radio presenter Fred MacAulay.

No word on whether or not Jo attended. Congratulations, Jo!

A very Potter Sequel

As you guys all know there would be a Starkids thing going on in the summer of 2010!
